Assembly and Packaging
Smart Assembly
All of our pieces are pre-assembled which means they are already ready to use. Our smart assembly is simply connecting these pieces together using provided hardware. This process is easy and does not require any special tools.
Packaging
Our pieces are flat-packed to assure security during transportation, easy lifting and carrying as well as to reduce its carbon footprint. The packaging itself is also eco-friendly with almost zero use of plastic.
FAQ
Is the top of the table removable? What do you mean by tray table?
The top of Batea M opens to the side to access its storage space. It includes a stopper on its bottom part so that the top would hold open without falling. This top is completely removable and can be lifted and removed.
In Batea S, the table includes a removable tray that works as a tabletop. When it is removed or used apart from the table, your table will have a lacquered metal table top.
The tray has a felt textile on its bottom part, so that it will be protected from the lacquered metal top when placing it on top of the table.
Can I choose a different tabletop?
Each table comes with its matching tabletop. However, we will be happy to add an extra table top.

How big is the storage space of Batea M?
The storage space of Batea M is 4,5 cm deep (1.77 in) and is the same length as the table. It’s perfect for small objects like the TV remote or magazines.
Are the tables safe for children?
The table includes only rounded corners that are safe for children.
However on Batea M, when the top of the table is open to the side, half of the top stays in the air meaning that if weight is put on top of it, it can result in the table turning over.
Can I change the height of the tables?
Yes, we can do this under special order with an extra cost of 40€. The maximum height we can add is 5cm (2 in).

Is it safe to place drinks or wet objects on top?
Yes, the sustainable wood used for the top of the tables is very resistant and waterproof.
However, we recommend the use of coasters to extend the life of your piece.
It is important to remember that if a dark liquid like wine and soda pours on the table it must be quickly removed for the wood not to get stained.
Please remember this piece is made out of 100% natural wood.
Can I order a custom color?
Yes! You can order custom wood colors by just reaching out via our web chat or by sending an email here. Requesting a customized color has an extra cost of 40€ per color, it doesn’t matter how many pieces you decide to change the color of.Color wood options: Any color from the RAL Color Chart.
