Alba did it again! We are gratified to tell you that The European Product Design Award honoured Alba, our modular bedside table, in 2018.
The aim of this award is to recognise the talent of product designers. Professionals who, through their creations, try to improve the daily life quality.
ALBA is a versatile product. It can be used both as a bedside table or a wall shelf . This design is fully customisable, create your design on the ALBA configurator.
The creative process of this piece of furniture, whose name stands for “sunrise” in Spanish, implied an added difficulty. The design of a modular system like this one, that provides with more than 10000 possible combinations is convoluted. However, as a result of the passion we lodged in its design, we were able to create a product whose main features are attention to detail and minimalism. As a consequence, it has been awarded Honorable Mention in The EPD Awards, amongst others.
