Caotics and Materna y Herencia present the fourth edition of Home, Casa, Home

In 2024, contemporary art and Spanish design come together in an exciting proposal: the fourth edition of the Home, Casa, Home exhibition. In collaboration with Caotics, the Materna y Herencia gallery transforms its space into an idealized home, where every artwork, piece of furniture, and sculpture tells the story of an imaginary collector. This aims to provide a relevant platform to showcase new trends, unique pieces, and emerging artists.

A blank space inviting habitation

The central idea of this exhibition is to transform the gallery into a unique home. The pristine white walls become the perfect backdrop to highlight the dialogue between art and design. Each piece has been selected not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its functionality, aligning with the concept of an ideal home. Here, the objects go beyond mere decoration; they are presented as essential elements of a livable space that invites the imagination to explore how art can integrate into everyday life.

This edition features not only sculptures and contemporary art but also design furniture that reflects the latest trends. Among the standout pieces is the IBON table set by Woodendot, which has been incorporated into the exhibition setup. These minimalist tables with geometric shapes perfectly fit the curatorial narrative by Marta Valea, creating harmony between art, design, and the living environment.

Woodendot’s participation

Woodendot, the Spanish brand known for its focus on sustainable design and artisanal craftsmanship, has been selected to participate in this exhibition with its IBON table collection. This series, which stands out for its simplicity and functionality, aligns perfectly with the theme of Home, Casa, Home. The IBON tables not only add beauty to the space but also reinforce the idea that design can be both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

Marta Valea creates a dream home

Under Marta Valea’s direction, the exhibition comes to life as a livable space where every element contributes to a cohesive narrative. Valea has carefully selected artworks and furniture not only to integrate aesthetically but also to serve a purpose within the idealized home space. In this setting, the IBON tables are not just pieces of furniture but key elements in creating a harmonious and sophisticated atmosphere.

The curator has sought to create a space where art and design coexist fluidly, blurring the lines between functionality and aesthetics. Every corner of the gallery is designed so that visitors can envision how the pieces would integrate into their own homes, inviting them to dream of a space where art is ever-present.

Caotics: a platform for new talents

The collaboration between Home, Casa, Home and Caotics provides an important window into contemporary art and emerging design in Spain. Since its inception, Caotics has worked to connect emerging artists with the public, creating a bridge between innovative proposals and collectors. This platform supports creators who challenge conventions and offer a fresh, avant-garde vision of art and design.

In this fourth edition, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the latest trends, materials, and forms, all with a focus on functional design and sustainable art.

Materna y Herencia: a space for experimentation

Its white, minimalist space provides the perfect canvas for artists and designers to showcase their work in a distraction-free environment, where every detail stands out with greater clarity.
