The Stoa wall-to-wall headboard in Natural Walnut gives the main bedroom a warm, grounded focal point. Its made-to-measure wood slat panel, natural walnut veneer and integrated lighting create one coherent feature while keeping bedside tables optional.

Proportioned for a 160 cm bed, it brings visual balance to the room and frees the floor from additional pieces. Wiring stays concealed behind the wall-mounted headboard, allowing the wood and soft light to define the space. The finished bedroom feels considered, comfortable and tailored to its exact dimensions.

FAQ

What minimum wall width do I need?

The minimum wall width depends on your bed width and on whether your configuration includes bedside tables.

WITH BEDSIDE TABLES
Bed width Minimum wall width Clear distance between tables
140 cm 261 cm 157 cm
150 cm 277 cm 173 cm
160 cm 277 cm 173 cm
180 cm 305 cm 201 cm
200 cm 321 cm 217 cm
HEADBOARD ONLY
Bed width Minimum wall width
140 cm 181 cm
150 cm 197 cm
160 cm 197 cm
180 cm 225 cm
200 cm 241 cm

  • Each bedside table is always 47 cm wide and cannot be made narrower.
  • The clear distance is measured between the inner edges of the bedside tables and is fixed by the selected bed width.
  • If your wall is narrower than the minimum shown, please contact us before ordering. We will review your measurements and confirm whether a technically valid configuration is possible.

How should I measure my wall?

Measure the clear available wall width at two heights: between the skirting boards and again at 90 cm from the floor. Enter the smaller measurement in the configurator. The headboard is installed 3 cm in front of the wall, so elements behind it, such as switches, sockets or the rear skirting board, do not normally need to be removed.

Which bed sizes are available?

STOA is available for beds measuring 140, 150, 160, 180 or 200 cm wide. The bedside tables are always 47 cm wide. The total headboard width depends on the selected bed width and the approved wall configuration. For other bed widths, please contact us before ordering so that we can confirm feasibility.

What's included with the headboard?

Your STOA configuration includes:

  • Modular headboard panels, pre-drilled for wall fixing
  • Bedside tables, if selected
  • Pre-wired wall lights, if selected
  • LED strip, if selected
  • 220 V → 24 V transformer for the selected lighting
  • Assembly instructions

The bed is not included.

What finishes and materials are available?

STOA is available in four finishes across two material families:

Natural wood veneer

  • Natural Oak Veneer — subtle grain and warm tone
  • Natural Walnut Veneer — more pronounced grain and deeper tone

Decor laminate

  • Oak Decor — oak-effect laminate
  • Walnut Decor — walnut-effect laminate

Should I choose floating or floor-standing bedside tables?

Choose floor-standing bedside tables for plasterboard, hollow or lightweight partition walls. Floating bedside tables require a solid masonry or similarly load-bearing wall suitable for secure fixings.

Can I assemble STOA myself?

STOA is designed to be assembled by two people. The exact process depends on your configuration:

  • The headboard panels are fixed to the wall. Horizontal battens are already fitted to the back of each panel, creating a 3 cm gap between the headboard and the wall.
  • Floating bedside tables are fixed independently to the wall.
  • Floor-standing bedside tables are not fixed to the headboard.

Always follow the assembly guide supplied for your exact configuration.

Do I need an electrician?

No electrician is required for the standard plug-in STOA lighting. It operates at 24 V through the supplied transformer and connects to an existing socket. A qualified electrician is only required if the spare bedside switches are to be connected to the room’s ceiling-light circuit. This electrical work is not included in the STOA installation.

What happens if I measure incorrectly or the headboard doesn't fit?

Contact us immediately if you identify an incorrect measurement, preferably before approving the technical drawing or beginning installation. Once the technical drawing has been approved, any adaptation or remake will be assessed individually and may involve additional costs and lead time.

Can I return STOA if I change my mind?

Yes. STOA can be returned within 90 days of delivery, subject to the conditions set out in our Returns Policy.

Do I need to remove skirting boards or wall switches?

No. STOA is installed 3 cm in front of the wall, so elements behind the headboard, such as switches, sockets or rear skirting boards, do not normally need to be removed.

What if I have a column or a protrusion on the wall?

Columns, protrusions and other structural obstacles are not part of the standard configuration. Send us photographs and exact measurements before ordering. We will confirm feasibility and any changes to the configuration, price or lead time.

How long does delivery take?

Each STOA is made to order. Production takes approximately 4 weeks from approval of the final production drawing, plus approximately 1 additional week for transport. These timings are estimates and may vary depending on the destination.

Can I order finish samples before buying?

Yes. Compare the finishes at home by ordering samples here. If you have a question about the finishes, you can also message us on WhatsApp.

Can I disassemble it if I move house?

Yes. STOA can be disassembled and reinstalled if the new wall suits the same approved configuration. If the dimensions are different, contact us before reinstalling it. We will assess whether new modules are required and provide a quote if the adaptation is feasible.

Which socket system will my STOA headboard include?

Your STOA headboard is fitted with sockets adapted to your delivery country: Type G for the UK and Ireland, Type J for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Type E or E/F for France, Belgium, Poland, Czechia and Slovakia, and Type F (Schuko) across most of Europe. For deliveries to Italy or Denmark, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the appropriate socket system.

Can the bed and bedside tables be positioned off-centre?

Yes. On walls wider than the minimum required, the bed and bedside tables can be positioned off-centre by adjusting the side panelling. The bedside table width and the clear distance between the tables remain unchanged. The final position will be shown in the technical drawing for approval before production.
