We want to help you give a second life to your Woodendot products. No questions asked, whether you’re moving, changing decorations or else we want to help you responsibly recycle your Woodendot piece for free. We will pick up your product covering all expenses, restore and reuse the pieces that are valuable and recycle the ones that are not, and reward you for your effort in taking care of our planet.

We are proud to be one of the first brands in the market that is completely responsible for every product they produce.

Nowadays, major brands and enterprises just produce and sell, leaving the responsibility of what happens after completely in the hands of the consumer. However, recycling practices around the world are not always taught, known, or even prioritized, and the real environmental impact of the consumer is tiny in comparison to the impact of the producer.

We are part of the solution by picking up these products, taking them back to where they were born, and making the reuse and recycling process easy and simple for the consumer, as it should be.

The process is clean and simple

1. Fill the form with your info to see if you qualify for the Vida Initiative

2. Wait until we analyze your info and see what’s the most sustainable thing to do

For us it is important to prioritize the environmental impact of our products, that is why we analyze the CO2 emissions for your product transport to our workshop in Iscar, Spain.

Once we receive it, we assess the product's restorability and reusability.

3. If your product qualifies, we will give you instructions on how to correctly pack it

The packing process is key since it will prepare the product to resist the trip to our warehouse.

A product in good condition assures we can re-insert it in the market which is the most sustainable option. Bear in mind the transportation process may include hand handling, transportation inside a truck or airplane.

4. We schedule a pick up day and time for your product

You will be able to pick the day and time that fits your schedule best.

We will cover expenses for picking up and restoring functional parts. Non-reusable components will be recycled appropriately based on materials and processes.

5. We receive the product at our warehouse!

Your Woodendot product is now back to its birth place in Iscar, Spain.

6. We proceed to do an evaluation and testing of the product and to separate its pieces

Our manufacturing process is sustainable and from the beginning considers easily disassembling and doesn't include chemical add ons which makes this process easy!

7. We start our product restoration process

We use as few materials as possible, seven to be exact. Thanks to our main material being wood, we are able to completely sand, polish, paint and varnish any piece making it brand new.

8. Once restored, the pieces are once again functional and brand new to be used for new products in our catalog

Then, we proceed to recycle any pieces that are not fitted for restoration or that did not survive the process.

9. Congrats, the process is completed!

You have helped us contribute to the circular economy, fight the fast furniture industry, and be sustainably responsible!

10. Receive your Woodendot's Vida Initiative certificate!

We recommend contacting the brand of the product first and asking them about the best way to sustainably recycle or donate the product.
