The exhibition “Artesanía Española de Vanguardia” -Cutting Edge Spanish Crafts-, is a large free access show offering a fresh perspective on contemporary Spanish craftsmanship that invites to discover its most innovative side as well as its interaction with the world of design. Powered by EOI Bussiness School through its crafts promotion department, Fundesarte, the exhibition is a second round of the eponymous book “Cutting Edge Spanish Crafts”, written by the design journalist Tachy Mora and published in 2011 by Lunwerg. Also promoted by Fundesarte, the book is a publication with an innovative approach that reveals the most contemporary side of Spanish Crafts, its interaction with the design field and the interesting harmony emerged between the two areas, in an incipient way at that time.

After the success of the exhibition in Spain, in Madrid and Elche (Alicante), on 2015 and 2016 the show will be travelling through America. Thanks to the sponsorship of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) the show will be on the American continent, starting with Washington (USA) February 5th to March 29th 2015, followed by Lima (Peru) from June 3rd to July 13th 2015, Mexico DF from August 18th to November 15th 2015, Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) from January 15th to March 8th 2015.
